Henry feels very privileged to be taking part in this year’s Kendal Mountain Festival. It’s a great event, which has become UK’s biggest adventure festival. He’ll  be sharing his passion for all things off-piste and ski touring, giving a Talk, and appearing with his good pals at ORTOVOX.

” People have said such good things about your Talk. It’s great to have you coming back”.

Emily Davis, Production (KMF)

His Talk will be as follows:

14.15 Saturday 18th November, Polartec Stage, Basecamp

‘Safety is Freedom‘

Have more fun , be safer off-piste and ski touring

It’s aimed at helping adventurous skiers – off-piste beginners to experts – have more fun and be safe on the mountain. Henry’s ‘Safety is Freedom’ vision embodies the nature of the event. He wants to instil in off-piste skiers and boards the belief that they can have fun, push the limits and stay safe out there at the same time.

At 45 minutes long, this is a slightly shorter version of his usual ‘essentials’ talk. It involves a Framework to help people apply the key prevention points that are too often neglected when an avalanche accident occurs… because off-piste skiing and touring can be safe if those key points are applied. It’s a free event in the lovely setting of the Basecamp tent, where the audience can ask questions, comment, and get really involved. Just turn up – we’d love to see you there!

Henry will also be joining his mates on the ORTOVOX stand throughout the weekend, and may end up doing other training events with them too (all still in the planning!).

He’s really looking forward to passing on his knowledge about all things off-piste, so please don’t hesitate to pop by for a chat.

Christian Schneidermeier, Managing Director of ORTOVOX, says: “Having Henry at this event really adds value to the representation of the ORTOVOX brand to a discerning audience who really know their stuff, but are keen to learn even more”.

All in all, it should be a fantastic weekend, and we’d love to see you there!

Kendal Mountain Festival is one stop on Henry’s well-known UK Tour, which also takes in London, Manchester and Glasgow, plus transceiver training events at various places. See this link for info on the whole Tour..
