All the new snow we have received in the last few days in the N French Alps (65-75 cm at 2000 m much more or less depending on exposure to wind) is sitting on a very weak layer(s) of snow in many places and on many slope aspects. Here are some thoughts and advice for the next few, mainly clear days.
